Created by industrial designer Irena Übler, Cubetto is an exclusive table lamp that consists of a pale cork cube placed on a thin layer of dark cork, equipped with a fabric cable available in numerous colours, with white switch and plug.
Cork is a totally natural material, one of the most highly regarded in eco-sustainable construction, derived from the bark of the Quercus suber L. oak which is widespread in the Portuguese region of Alentejo.
At the end of the cork base manufacturing process, which takes place entirely in Portugal, the Posaluce Cubetto in MoCo cork undergoes a treatment that creates an invisible surface layer that protects it from ageing and moisture.
